When this switch is in the "Lock" position, it prevents the card from being written to. Locate the Switch: Find the switch on the side of your SD card. It’s usually a small, movable piece of plastic. Unlock the Card: Slide the switch to the "Unlock" position. This should enable writing to the card. 2. Inspect the Switch for Damage Sometimes, the switch may be damaged or loose, causing the card to mistakenly register as write-protected.
